At Valkyrie Warrior Movement (VWM), we believe that every survivor is a warrior, capable of reclaiming their life with resilience and strength. Valkyrie were female warriors who were “choosers of the slain.” We believe that every survivor gets to choose their own destiny. It is not easy rising up out of the ashes but each one of us has the strength within in themselves to choose life. Our mission is to empower survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence by helping them find their voice and build the lives they deserve.
Through education and training, we equip law enforcement, government agencies, community organizations, medical professionals, and the public with a deep understanding of the psychological effects these traumas have on survivors. This awareness is crucial to providing compassionate, effective support that honors each survivor's journey.

Understanding the Manipulation Tactics of Human Trafficking; a Look From Both Sides
This training helps community-based professionals recognize the psychological tactics used by traffickers to manipulate and control victims. Participants will learn how to identify signs of trafficking, build trust with survivors, and respond with trauma-informed care to support long-term healing and safety.
